“The rise of private equity as a preferred destination has strongly influenced course content. In 2024, nearly 9% of Harvard’s MBA class went into private equity, while London Business School reported that 8% of its MBA students entered private equity compared to 6% entering banking, according to efinancialcareers.com. Anthony Keizner of Odyssey Search Partners in the US noted that private equity firms often hire MBAs for senior associate and VP roles.”
